Lemon Cake

Ingredients

Butter (or) Margarine
115gm
Sugar
225gm
Refined flour
225gm
Baking powder
2 tsp
Salt
a pinch
Milk
150ml
Eggs
2
Lemon essence
1 tsp


Method
1. Sieve flour and baking powder. 
2. Cream butter and sugar till light and fluffy.
3. Beat the eggs and add to creamed mixture. Continue beating.
4. Fold in dry ingredients and add lemon essence. 
5. Pour into greased pans.
6. Bake at 190°C for 15 to 20 minutes. 
7. Sandwich with jam or butter cream.
