Jam Buns


Ingredients (serves 8 to 9 buns)

Refined flour (or) Maida
115gm
Baking powder
½ tsp
Sugar
55gm
Salt
a pinch
Jam
45gm
Milk
a little for mixing
Butter
45gm  

Method 
1. Sieve flour, baking powder and salt together. 
2. Rub in fat and add sugar.
3. Mix to a stiff dough with milk.
4. Knead the dough lightly and divide into 8 to 9 pieces. 
5. Make a hole in each piece and fill with little jam.
6. Take a baking tray , grease butter and dust with flour. 
7. Bake at 205°C for 15 to 20 minutes.
